Natural pine Christmas elephant

This free-standing elephant is cut from pine wood, the warm palette of the natural wood adding to the simple elegance of this charming decoration, and then the detail hand painted.
It was cut from one piece of pine and measures 9.5cm tall, 10.3cm at the widest point, and the pine is approximately 1cm thick. 
Each piece is left in its natural state, and as with all thin wood, it may be susceptible to breaking, splintering or warping. The colouring has been added by hand using with acrylic paint.
