Notts County's Meadow Lane

This is a beautiful, individual, one-off piece of hand-crafted pyrography art-work depicting a fish-eye view from the Kop at Meadow Lane, home of Notts County F.C.

A little background to my art. Pyrography dates back to the 17th century, and literally means "writing with fire", from the Greek pur (fire) and graphos (writing) and is achieved by hand using a special electrically heated pen.

This original piece of framed 12" x 12" artwork has been burnt into a solid piece of 6mm quality birch ply totally by hand, taking in excess of 10 hours to complete. It was the coloured with high quality art pencils, and the finished work was then coated twice with Danish Oil to protect it. This item is framed in a very high quality dark wood effect frame without glass to allow the artwork to “breathe”.

The frame has a hanger to the rear for display purposes.
